Outpatient Projects: $73 million redevelopment project in Detroit to include 195,000 square foot MOB

DETROIT – In recent months, the city of Detroit’s Brownfield Redevelopment Authority and a private development firm have indicated that they are moving forward with a demolition and redevelopment project that would result in the building of a new mixed-use and a large outpatient medical facility just outside of downtown.

Outpatient Projects: Orthopedics group to own new $20 million building outside of Richmond, Va.

MECHANICSVILLE, Va. – A large Richmond-based orthopedics group is looking to own rather than rent the facilities it occupies. As part of the strategy, the group plans to own a facility under construction next to Bon Secours Memorial Regional Medical Center in Mechanicsville, just north of Richmond, Va.

A $1.2 billion expansion at Loma Linda University Health will include an $823 million hospital addition as well as this $60 million research facility, which will house the Center for Discovery and the Wholeness Institute.
