The Davis Group is well- known in Twin Cities’ healthcare real estate circles

Back when Mark Davis launched his real estate firm in 1986, he was something of a pioneer in the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minn. “At that point, I don’t think anyone was focusing on the healthcare real estate market,” says Mr. Davis, who had previously worked as a real estate manager for Share, a defunct Minnesota HMO.

In retrospect, Mr. Davis says that in starting the Davis Group when he did, he came up with the right idea at the right time and in the right market. “(The Twin Cities) is a very sophisticated and mature healthcare market, more so than most other markets,” he notes. “For us, it’s a niche that developed over many years, and today, we’re 98 percent focused on healthcare.”
