he Healthcare Services Group of Los Angeles-based CBRE (NYSE: CBG) has been hired by Scottsdale, Ariz.-based Prime A Investments to provide property management and leasing services for four MOBs on the campus of Dallas Medical Center. The 155-bed acute care hospital, in the North Dallas suburb of Farmers Branch, was acquired by Ontario, Calif.-based Prime Healthcare Services Inc. in 2012. Prime A Investments recently closed escrow on the four MOBs, known collectively as Dallas Medical Center Office Plaza, which have a total of 187,000 square feet and are about 60 percent occupied. The hospital, one Prime Healthcare’s three hospitals in Texas and 25 nationwide, offers services that include medical/surgical, outpatient surgery, 24-hour emergency care, and cardiology services. The seller of the MOB portfolio was Metrocrest Hospital Authority. Major tenants in the buildings Dermatology Consultants, Research Across America and Dallas Medical Physician Group. Kelley Ahrens and Austin Barrett of CBRE in Dallas are the portfolio’s leasing agents. Nancy Edwards is the property manager.
