Outpatient Projects: MOB going up near new Texas hospital

PMB IS INVOLVED IN OUTPATIENT, INPATIENT DEVELOPMENTS ON LAKEWAY CAMPUS

Pacific Medical Buildings, which is already developing the eight-story, 270,000 square foot Lakeway (Texas) Regional Medical Center, is now adding a $12 million, two-story, 53,000 square foot medical office building to the campus.

Mid-year in 2011, with the anticipated opening of a new hospital in fast-growing Lakeway, Texas, approaching, San Diego-based Pacific Medical Buildings (PMB) found itself having to make significant changes to its plans for a medical office building (MOB) on the campus.

By that time, PMB was well aware that demand for MOB space wasn’t yet high enough for an 80,000 square foot MOB at the site, as was originally planned.
