Alabama hospital eyes $316M project
TRINITY MEDICAL CENTER AWAITS STATE APPROVAL FOR REPLACEMENT HOSPITAL

Trinity Medical Center of Birmingham is seeking state approval to build a 454-bed, $316 million replacement hospital in the nearby suburb of Irondale, Ala., near U.S. Interstate 459.
In recent weeks, an administrative law judge recommended that the 41-year old hospital, which was previously called Montclair Baptist, be allowed to relocate to Irondale from its current location, off Montclair Road just east of downtown Birmingham.
