Officials from Abrazo Health, Tenet Healthcare, the city of Buckeye, and the state of Arizona gathered to celebrate the Grand Opening of the Cambridge-developed Abrazo Health Medical Office Building on June 18.
The 60,000-square-foot, three-story building is home to a variety of medical services, including cardiology, orthopedics, spine care, sports medicine, internal medicine, urology, and physical therapy. The project was developed as phase 1 of the campus in the fast-growing city of Buckeye, located west of Phoenix and one of the fastest growing cities in the United States.
“Before now, many residents had to travel outside the community for everything from basic to advanced medical care and services, so this facility will really help improve access and therefore the quality of lives for the citizens of Buckeye and beyond,” said Hans Driessnack, CEO of the Abrazo Health West Campus.
Roman Bogoslavsky, Cambridge CIO, said, “Together with our incredible partners at Tenet Healthcare and Abrazo Health, dedicated physicians, and this vibrant community, we have built something that will help create a better future… we are thrilled to celebrate with you all today and to do our part in making Buckeye an even healthier place to live.”
