News Release: Catalyst and National Begin Construction on a Free-Standing Emergency Department in the Fort Wayne Community

PENSACOLA, FL, July 6, 2022 – Catalyst Healthcare Real Estate (Catalyst), a full-service healthcare real estate investment firm, and National Real Estate Advisors, LLC (National), an investment manager developing and managing large-scale real estate projects on behalf of its clients begin the construction of a 26,000 square-foot freestanding emergency department (FSED) in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

“We are excited to continue expanding into the Fort Wayne market and growing our relationship with Lutheran Health Network,” said Anthony Lampasona, Chief Development Officer of Catalyst. “This free-standing emergency department will strengthen the already significant healthcare position in Fort Wayne and set the stage for future opportunities.”

Located approximately five miles northeast of downtown Fort Wayne, the FSED will allow Lutheran Health Network to grow its network of emergency and primary care services. The two-story facility will offer emergency services, imaging services, lab space, and primary care services. The FSED will anchor the property on the first floor and will provide primary care on the second floor.

“This project is another example of Lutheran Health Network’s continued commitment to providing convenient access to care across the city and region,” said Scott Teffeteller, Lutheran Health Network market CEO.

Strategically positioned in a highly visible site, the FSED will provide immediate access to healthcare and emergency services for the local community and surrounding areas.

“This project underscores National’s commitment to investing in high-quality health solutions in diverse markets,” said Jeffrey Kanne, President and CEO of National. “We look forward to delivering for this community while generating good returns for our clients and creating good jobs.”
