News Release: Jacobson Properties Arranges Sale Of East Bay Ambulatory Care Building

May 12, 2021 (Swansea, MA) Lisa Menin of Jacobson Properties is pleased to announce the sale of the East Bay Ambulatory Care Building, a 23,072 square foot Class A medical building located in Swansea, Massachusetts. East Bay Ambulatory Care was sold by East Bay Surgery Center Real Estate, LLC, to a national healthcare real estate firm for a purchase price of $9,206,000.

East Bay Ambulatory Care is 100% leased to two tenants: East Bay Surgery Center, a state-of-the-art ambulatory surgical center whose single focus is ophthalmic surgery, and Steward Saint Anne’s Hospital Center for Pain Management, a facility devoted to the treatment and management of chronic disabling pain.

East Bay Surgery Center is one of the largest ophthalmic surgery centers in Massachusetts; 24 of the leading ophthalmic surgeons in Massachusetts and Rhode Island perform eye surgery at the Center. Patients travel from as far as 40 miles away to be treated by the expert surgeons in this facility. In connection with the sale, East Bay Surgery Center executed a new long-term lease.
