U of Maryland System takes over Dimensions, will start $543 million replacement

With the University of Maryland Medical System’s new ownership of Cheverly, Md. based Dimensions Healthcare System, plans are expected to move forward for the building of a future $543 million teaching hospital in Largo, Md.

Dimensions is now called University of Maryland Capital Region Health, and it operates two hospitals as well as other outpatient facilities in Greater Washington.
