Baptist Health South Florida and Hilton have broken ground on a 150,000-square-foot hotel located on the west side of the Baptist Hospital Campus. The 184-room hotel, scheduled to open in late 2018, will be a full service facility able to accommodate guests needing longer stays.

The Hilton Miami/Dadeland will be a complement to the exceptional patient experience offered at Miami Cancer Institute, the $430 million clinical and research center set to open in January. The Institute will house all cancer services under one roof, including South Florida’s first proton therapy center. Patients of Miami Cardiac & Vascular Institute will also benefit from the hotel’s proximity.

The Hilton Miami/Dadeland will also be a hub for business activity in Kendall, housing the largest meeting space in the area, a wellness center, and a farm-to-table restaurant. The facility will be operated by Interstate Hotels and Resorts.
