Familiar executives moving to new companies
Dear Reader,
For quite a few years, it seemed like few personnel changes took place in the healthcare real estate (HRE) sector, especially the medical office building (MOB) market. And because the sector is rather small compared to other industries, it was usually big news when someone who was well-established and well-known at one firm joined another. As a result, most of the changes were somewhat easy to track.
In the past year or so, however, it seems like there have been more HRE personnel changes than usual. We don’t have any numbers to back that up; our observation is purely anecdotal. But the changes we have seen are leaving us here at Healthcare Real Estate Insights™ feeling like we need a chart of some sort to keep track of them all.
Below is an admittedly incomplete list of the recent career moves we’ve seen people make. In deference to their former employers, we’re not going to reveal their ex-companies. But you might already know anyway and – if you don’t – that informational is usually readily available on Linkedin. So here goes:
