STAMFORD, Conn. – Stamford Hospital officials are showing early signs of satisfaction with their current $450 million investment. Construction on a new 640,000 square foot expansion hospital is accelerating quickly and could open as soon as spring 2016. The hospital broke ground on the project in May 2013.

Inpatient Projects: U of Kansas Hospital plans $279 million expansion following $10M donation

KANSAS CITY, Kan. – Fundraising for a $279 million expansion to the University of Kansas Hospital recently got a huge boost when a Kansas City philanthropist Annette Bloch donated $10 million to the project. The hospital is hoping to use $100 million in philanthropic gifts to finance the project.

The Boston Medical Center transaction includes an option for the buyer to acquire the eight-story Newton Pavilion in three years.
