News Release: RJM Construction building Allina Health Champlin Clinic

MINNEAPOLIS (Sept. 29, 2014) — RJM Construction, a Minneapolis-based general contractor, recently broke ground on a new 26,500-sq.-ft. clinic in Champlin for Allina Health Champlin Clinic. Located next to the existing clinic at 11269 Jefferson Highway, the single-story structure will be 11,100 sq. ft. larger and feature a steel frame and veneer masonry exterior.

The existing clinic will continue to operate during construction. Once construction of the new building is complete, the clinic will relocate and open in the spring of 2015. In addition to RJM Construction, the project team includes developer MSP Commercial and architect and design partner BDH & Young.

“In our plans to keep the existing clinic open, RJM stepped in early and helped in the detailed planning needed for this kind of work,” said Alex Young, vice president, MSP Commercial.

The Allina Health Champlin Clinic offers complete care for the whole family including OB/GYN, pediatrics, internal medicine, eye services, physical therapy and Allina Health Urgent Care.
