AKRON, Ohio – Akron General Health & Wellness Innovations, part of the Akron General Health System, is teaming up with the Boldt Co. of Appleton, Wis., to expand its popular wellness centers on a national footprint.
The two entities recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to collaborate on future projects. The wellness centers, designed and operated by the newly named Akron General Health & Wellness Innovations, are what the health system calls “unique, award-winning” medical facilities that focus on outpatient medical fitness. They provide exercise and retail-oriented health services to “improve the health of a community.”
