CHICAGO (April 22, 2014) — John Wilson, president of HSA PrimeCare, the national health care real estate division of Chicago-based HSA Commercial Real Estate, announced today that the firm has finished construction of the Lowell Health Center, a 12,000-square-foot outpatient clinic occupied by Franciscan St. Anthony Health – Crown Point. Located at 4500 West 181st Avenue in Lowell, Ind., the Lowell Health Center opened for patients in February and offers physician offices, laboratory services, and diagnostic imaging at a convenient site within the town’s primary commercial district.
“Through the development of facilities such as the Lowell Health Center, Franciscan St. Anthony Health is offering its patients access to the best medical services in a convenient, stress-free setting,” said John Wilson.
In February 2013, Franciscan St Anthony Health selected HSA PrimeCare as its development partner to assist in the acquisition, design, development, project management, and financing for the Lowell Health Center. The complex development process for the project included the negotiation of a Tax Increment Financing (“TIF”) package with the town to help cover the cost of extending utilities 1,200 feet to the property line and improving access to the site.
Franciscan Alliance previously partnered with HSA PrimeCare on the development of the 19,593-square-foot Woodland Cancer Care Center on the hospital’s outpatient campus in Michigan City, Ind.
