CNL Healthcare Properties, a real estate investment trust (REIT) focused on senior housing and healthcare facilities, announced plans to invest about $35.3 million to develop a 152-unit senior housing community in Tega Cay, S.C.

The community will include six buildings totaling about 175,000 square feet on a 12.5 acre site that’s located about 20 miles southwest of Charlotte, N.C. It will include 80 assisted living units, 24 memory care residences, and 48 units reserved for skilled nursing and short-term rehabilitation, as well as a dining clubhouse and a health and wellness center.
