Rendina Cos. delivered  a successful solution for Seton Family Healthcare and LHP Hospital Group with a $10.9 million, three-story, 61,064 square foot full-service MOB on the new Seton Medical Center campus. The MOB provides the two clients with a competitive edge and a community asset to help them survive and thrive in their small market. Rendina did it all on a nine-month fast-track schedule, opening on time and on budget. The fully leased MOB houses physicians who were aligned by combining shared ownership with long-term leases. In addition, initial cash flow to the physician-partners was about double the projected amount.

Lone Star Family Health needed room to grow its Federally Qualified Health Center, which provides critical services to some of Conroe’s most at-need population at a rate of well over 50,000 visits per year. Caddis Partners was able to provide a multifaceted solution by acquiring a site and designing, financing and constructing a new two-story, 70,961 square foot health center while coming in $1 million under budget. The resulting project provided the client, Conroe and Montgomery County, with an attractive, efficient, cost-effective building to house all of the Family Health Center’s services under one roof.

Sutter Health faced a complex challenge in meeting California’s hospital seismic safety law, necessitating replacement of its aging hospital. Concurrently, a new MOB was needed. PMB quickly set about delivering the two projects on the campus under strict regulatory time frames and budgets, and also financed and managed the new $37 million, 82,000 square foot MOB. The clinic was designed with Lean principles, improving productivity, delivery and the patient experience. Connected by bridges to the hospital’s four floors, the MOB was completed on budget in 12 months’ time, and has already received several awards.

Nautilus - Montecito UCLA Outpatient Surg and Oncologyor DuskUCLA Outpatient Surgery & Oncology Center, Santa Monica, Calif.

Montecito Medical and tenant UCLA needed a patient-focused outpatient surgery center and MOB with an effective parking solution at a challenging, dense, in-fill location with tight zoning. Nautilus Group developed the $38 million, 51,342 square foot facility to include the nation’s first LEED® Gold outpatient surgery and oncology medical building and the West Coast’s first fully automated, six-level subterranean robotic parking structure that can fit 385 cars in half the space of conventional garages. The aesthetically and environmentally pleasing facility is 100 percent leased through 2042, far exceeding all the client’s goals.

United Health Services needed to expand in the underserved Binghamton, N.Y., area. NexCore helped UHS achieve its goals of implementing a new market standard, expanding the patient base and strengthening its brand with a $21 million, three-story, 86,000 square foot integrated off-campus facility – the region’s first “Big Box” outpatient center. The team successfully navigated site selection, ground lease negotiations and strategic planning while maximizing operational efficiency and patient flow. In September 2012, NexCore delivered a project within budget and on time; a community asset that has topped all projections.
