News Release: Rendina Companies announces the appointment of Neil Carolan as Senior Vice President of Business Development

JUPITER, Fla., Sept. 19, 2013 – Rendina Companies, one of the nation’s leading full-service healthcare real estate development companies, is pleased to announce the appointment of Neil Carolan as Senior Vice President of Business Development. Mr. Carolan’s primary responsibility will be to generate new business opportunities and expand healthcare relationships for Rendina Companies’ West Coast operations.

Mr. Carolan comes to Rendina with more than 30 years of executive-level experience in healthcare administration, in which his focus was on real estate, physician development, ambulatory and acute care, joint physician ventures, and medical office development.

Mr. Carolan previously worked for such companies as Franciscan Management Services, CHRISTUS Health, and most recently Carondelet Health Network, where he managed more than 5 million square feet of healthcare real estate. Mr. Carolan is the current Co-Chair of Building Owners and Managers Association’s (BOMA) Medical Office, as well as the Co-Chair of the Healthcare Facilities Conference and Committee. Mr. Carolan is also the author of recent report on healthcare real estate, published by BOMA International: “Developing, Leasing and Managing Healthcare Facilities in an Evolving Healthcare Environment.”

Mr. Carolan has a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Upper Iowa University and he has completed all of the necessary MHA/MBA coursework at the University of Michigan.
