BRANSON, Mo. – Chesterfield, Mo.-based Mercy is certainly a well-known health system in Branson. However, most of the city’s residents need to drive about 35 miles to the north to receive Mercy’s services at its hospital in Springfield, Mo.
Starting in 2015, however, that will no longer be the case. Mercy has acquired an abandoned motel, the Branson Inn, on the city’s major highway where it plans to construct a 62,000 square foot, two-story outpatient facility. The old hotel will be razed to make way for the new building, which is slated for completion in 2015.
