Provider News: Dignity buys land for ‘mini’ hospital

HEALTH SYSTEM PLANS 24-BED, $44M FACILITY IN WEST VALLEY OF PHOENIX METRO

Jeffrey W.  Land, the VP of corporate real estate for San Francisco-based Dignity Health, has said on several occasions in recent years that the hospital of the future will be significantly smaller and more efficient than those built in the past.

It looks as if Mr. Land’s prediction is coming true sooner than later for Dignity Health, formerly known as Catholic Healthcare West.
