Editor’s Letter: Glad we’re ‘healthcare’

THERE’S MUCH MORE TO THIS SECTOR THAN MOBs

Dear Reader:

When we launched Healthcare Real Estate Insights in January 2003, we deliberately used “healthcare” in our publication title  rather than a more specific term like “medical office” to reflect that the scope of our coverage would include a broad range of property types, including hospitals, senior housing and other healthcare facilities, not just medical office buildings (MOBs).
