Uncertainty about whether certain aspects of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010 – better known as the healthcare reform law – will be overturned or tweaked. Uncertainty about how many new real estate projects will be needed by hospitals and health systems in the coming era of reform, mergers and acquisitions (M&As), employed physicians, lease accounting changes, improving capital markets, and a slowly improving economy.
