Outside of its home state, Indianapolis-based Cornerstone Cos. isn’t exactly a household name, even in the area in which it specializes: healthcare real estate.
However, over the past 25 years the developer and property management firm has quietly amassed an impressive portfolio of nearly 40 facilities with about 1.5 million square feet of space. The properties are home to a wide range of medical uses.
Along the way, Cornerstone has shaped a successful, controlled growth model for collaboration with physicians and hospital groups. It has developed medical office buildings (MOBs), ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs), imaging centers, catheterization labs, diagnostic centers, endoscopy centers, sleep labs, physical therapy centers, oncology centers, and clinical labs.
