Grubb & Ellis makes more MOB buys

 HEALTHCARE REIT BUYS THREE MORE MOBs, PORTFOLIO OF SENIOR FACILITIES

We’ve written this quite a few times in recent months, but Grubb & Ellis Healthcare REIT is continuing with its prolific pace of buying medical office buildings (MOBs) and other healthcare properties.

In the past month or so, the REIT, which sponsored by Santa Ana, Calif.-based Grubb & Ellis Co. (NYSE: GBE), acquired three MOBs with a total of about 138,000 square feet in separate, unrelated transactions. In addition, Grubb & Ellis Realty Investors LLC, which is also part of Grubb & Ellis, acquired a two-building MOB complex in Jacksonville, Fla. Those properties have a total of 132,000 square feet of space.
