Dear Reader:
Five years, 60 monthly editions, about 2,500 articles and news briefs, and roughly 1 million words of copy. Those are the facts and figures on what we have published since Healthcare Real Estate Insights™ debuted in January 2003.
Yes, it’s been five years since we launched this newsletter. That might surprise you. Frankly, it surprises us a little bit, too. When we first started out, there were plenty of naysayers. “Healthcare real estate?” they asked, “Who would want to read about that?!”
Fortunately for us, many of you did, and our subscriber base has grown steadily since Day 1. In fact, the success of HREI™ has built the foundation for a business that has also expanded into healthcare real estate audio conferences, Webinars, a sister publication for hospital and health system executives, a bioscience real estate newsletter, and most recently an annual resource guide – another first for our industry sector.
