CHULA VISTA, Calif. – San Diego-based Sharp Healthcare recently paid $22.5 million to acquire a three-story, 67,000 square foot MOB at 1400 East Palomar St. in Chula Vista, according to data from real estate researcher Real Capital Analytics (RCA) Inc.

LANDSDOWNE, Va. – Strong population growth is prompting Falls Church, Va.-based Inova Health System to embark on a $275 million expansion of its hospital in Landsdowne, about an hour west of Washington, D.C.

The planned 120,000 square foot Children’s Hospital at Sacred Heart is to be built alongside the current Sacred Heart Hospital, which has housed the children’s hospital since 1969. Ascension Health has committed $55 million to the project.
