THE MISSNER GROUP COMPLETES RENOVATIONS FOR ILLINOIS BONE & JOINT IN MORTON GROVE
(Des Plaines, Illinois) – The Missner Group is pleased to announce that the firm has completed renovations for Illinois Bone & Joint Institute’s (IBJI) Morton Grove, Illinois location at 9000 Waukegan Road. The facility remained operational throughout the duration of construction.
The renovation of the Morton Grove facility included the demolition of an existing MRI suite and the deconstruction of an indoor swimming pool. The Missner Group also replaced the mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems within the MRI suite, installed new RF shielding, and constructed the space with non-ferrous materials prior to installing the new state-of-the-art MRI equipment. The existing indoor swimming pool was deconstructed and filled with structural stone and topped with flooring. The Missner Group then constructed an open work area to serve as the new physical and occupational training space.
Stoehr was the project executive for The Missner Group. He led the construction team that included Heath Yarger, project engineer and Len Corso, project superintendent. Technology Consulting Group provided the architectural services and MB Real Estate Healthcare Group served as the property manager.
