FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
June 22, 2026
(Lakeland, Florida) Committed to pursuing better healthcare through real estate solutions, Anchor Health Properties (Anchor), a national full-service healthcare real estate development, management, and investment company focused exclusively on medical outpatient buildings and specialty healthcare facilities, recently celebrated the opening of a transformative 80,000 square foot, on-campus, multi-specialty medical outpatient building in Lakeland, Florida.
Prominently located at 4060 Lakeland Highlands Road on the Orlando Health Watson Clinic Lakeland Highlands Hospital campus, the new facility marks an important step forward in expanding access to high-quality, patient-centric care across Florida’s heartland. Purposefully designed as a community anchor, the building brings a broad range of outpatient services closer to where patients live and work – supporting more convenient and connected care.
This milestone reflects the strong collaboration between Orlando Health, one of the leading health systems in the Southeast, and Watson Clinic, one of the nation’s most respected physician-led practices, who engaged Anchor Health Properties to serve as their development partner. Anchor Health Properties provided comprehensive, end-to-end development services, including financing, planning and programming, oversight of design and construction, and post-occupancy commissioning to guide the project from initial vision through successful delivery.
“Today is a meaningful milestone for everyone involved in this project,” shared Will Foster, Senior Development Director with Anchor Health Properties. “This facility is the result of true partnership and a shared commitment to expanding access to care in a way that is thoughtful, patient-focused, and rooted in the needs of the Lakeland community. As someone who lives and works here, it’s incredibly rewarding to see this vision come to life alongside our partners.”
The facility seamlessly complements inpatient and acute care services at the adjacent hospital, strengthening care coordination and enhancing patient outcomes. Watson Clinic physicians have privileges across both campus locations, supporting a more integrated and streamlined experience for patients from diagnosis through treatment and follow-up care.
Regionally based firms with extensive healthcare facility experience served as part of the project team, including HuntonBrady, an award-winning architecture and interior design firm, and Hoar Construction, a prominent, privately held construction company.
The MOB opened its doors to patients on June 15, 2026.
