News Release: FTS Real Estate Team Advises on $62MM Package of Assets in Ohio & Texas

Fifth Third Securities’ Real Estate Investment Banking team (“FTS”) served as the exclusive advisor to a publicly traded REIT on the sale of two freestanding inpatient rehabilitation facilities (“IRFs”) located in Ohio and Texas.

The transaction was executed by FTS’s Real Estate Investment Banking team, led by Matthew Tarpley, Jake Gorin, Nathan Choi and Ananya Kothakota. The FTS team has led the broader healthcare real estate industry in specialty healthcare real estate transactions, including IRFs, for the last three years.

“The package of IRFs operated by a leading national operator [Lifepoint Health] in some of the fastest-growing submarkets in the country had strong appeal through an evolving interest-rate environment,” said Matthew Tarpley, Managing Director and Head of the Real Estate Investment Banking Group at FTS. “The transaction continued a streak of our client’s strategic capital recycling and deployment into new investments.”
