Commerce, GA — Remedy Medical Properties (“Remedy”) today announced the groundbreaking of the Piedmont Commerce Medical Office Building in Commerce, Georgia. The project represents Phase I of a master-planned outpatient campus with Piedmont Healthcare.
The 31,481-square-foot, two-story medical outpatient building is being developed on a 4.36-acre site and will include 140 parking spaces. The site offers direct frontage along Homer Road with visibility from U.S. Highway 441, just off the I-85 corridor in rapidly growing Jackson County. The project is expected to be completed in early 2027.
The facility is designed to support a comprehensive outpatient platform, with Orthopedics, Imaging, Mammography, and Rehab located on the first floor, and Pediatrics, Cardiology, OB/GYN, and Primary Care on the second floor. A mobile MRI pad will also be incorporated on-site.
The project team includes Piedmont Healthcare, Remedy Medical Properties, LDDBlueline (architect), Eberly & Associates (civil engineer), and Brasfield & Gorrie (general contractor).
