New York, New York – June 30, 2025 – Berkadia, a distinguished leader in the commercial real estate sector, announced today the refinancing of a 35-asset nationwide Seniors Housing portfolio. Managing Directors Austin Sacco and Steve Muth, Senior Director Garrett Sacco, and AVP Alec Rosenfeld of Berkadia Seniors Housing & Healthcare secured a $627.2 million agency loan.
This transaction represents one of the largest seniors housing refinancings in recent years, showcasing Berkadia’s ability to navigate complex capital markets and deliver tailored solutions.
The $627.2 million loan is allocated across 35 assets, spanning 15 states and inclusive of 4,395 independent living units, assisted living units, and memory care units.
