Kraus-Anderson Phoenix
Last year, Kraus-Anderson Construction Company (KA) acquired Phoenix-based Sonoran Crest Construction, a 20-year-old firm with an established brand and healthcare presence in the southwest U.S. Through market sector diversification and geographic expansion, the acquisition will expand KA’s growth in the southwest U.S., the fifth largest construction market in the country and a national hub for the healthcare industry, one of KA’s largest building units. In addition to healthcare, KA brings to the region a vast portfolio in numerous building sectors, including education, commercial, hospitality, offices, retail, housing and mixed-use developments, as well as deep experience with buildouts and special projects.
In the fall of 2024, KA completed Virtuous Health’s Ambulatory Surgery Center in Tempe, Ariz. This month, KA began construction on Terraza Medical Village in San Tan Valley, Pinal County, Ariz. The campus will include five medical office buildings that are a combined total of 100,000 square feet.
