News Release: Deeni Taylor Appointed New Chairman & CEO of Landmark

For immediate release. Landmark Healthcare Facilities LLC is proud to announce the appointment of D. Deeni Taylor as its new Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.

Landmark is a national leader in the full-service development, ownership and management of the complete range of outpatient medical buildings.

Prior to joining Landmark, Deeni Taylor served as the Senior Vice President and Head of Strategic Relationships for Healthpeak Properties, Inc. (NYSE: DOC), where he was responsible for the development and maintenance of key partnerships within the healthcare industry.

Earlier in his career as a developer and investor in healthcare real estate, Deeni Taylor was the Chief Investment Officer of Milwaukee-based Physicians Realty Trust for nine years and the Executive Vice President of Indianapolis-based Duke Realty for ten years. Healthpeak and Physicians Realty Trust merged in March 2024.

Joe Checota, the founder of Landmark, will continue to serve as Chairman and CEO of Landmark until October 23, the date on which Deeni Taylor will become the Chairman and CEO. Checota will become the Executive Chairman of Landmark on October 23, and will continue as an active participant in the development program of Landmark for the foreseeable future.

Additional Information About D. Deeni Taylor

Before Deeni Taylor began his 20-year career as a healthcare real estate developer and investor, he served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer for St. Vincent Health, an Ascension Health ministry that includes 16 hospitals in central Indiana. He also served as President of Unity Health Management Services in Birmingham Alabama.
