Pineville, NC (September 2024) – MPV Properties (“MPV”) and Gracious Living are pleased to announce the opening of Gracious Living at The Plaza at Park 51. The Huntersville-based adult day center is now available to south Charlotte clients, some of whom were driving some distance through traffic just to secure their loved one’s spot. Gracious Living is an adult day and health care center, providing supervision and socialization for active seniors. Located at 10635 Park Road (formerly Blacklion), this is the third Charlotte-area location for the company.
Executive Director and Dementia Practitioner at Gracious Living, Michele Allgood, along with her nursing staff, understand that while caregiving can be fulfilling, without the right resources in place there can be significant, challenging moments for both the caregiver/s and the person being cared for. “Caregiving requires a skilled, well-thought-out plan of care in order for all individuals involved to have an experience that leaves them fulfilled and their lives enhanced by the entire experience,” says Allgood. “Gracious Living is committed to providing services and individualized support to meet the social, spiritual, physical, and medical needs of people who experience persistent mental-health issues, medical conditions, aging concerns, and developmental disabilities.”
At the center, clients can take part in a range of activities lead by their all nurse or certified nursing assistant staff members. Activities include bingo, karaoke, bowling, balloon table tennis, drum circle and more. In short, Gracious Living is the “Best Place for Your Best Days!”
Gracious Living Pineville is open Mon.-Fri. from 6:00am – 6:30pm.
