Atlanta, GA, August 23, 2024 – Chicago-based Walz Kraft, formerly Walz Capital, today announced their acquisition of a 2-property medical office portfolio, totaling 9,800 square feet. The buildings were acquired through a sale leaseback and are fully occupied by The Women’s Center, PC, who has been serving the Atlanta area since 2003.
The first location is in Stockbridge. It is ideally situated directly on Piedmont Henry Hospital’s campus, which is currently constructing a five-story tower that will add 95 inpatient beds, bringing the total number to 355. The second building is located in Conyers.
Both locations offer a full range of women’s health services including ultrasound, urology, hormone replacement therapy, comprehensive exams, osteoporosis screening, gynecology, infertility, and more.
These properties mark Walz Kraft’s seventh and eighth property acquisitions in the Atlanta area.
“It’s steady economic growth and booming medical industry has made Georgia a dependable and reliable market for us. This acquisition marks our eighth building in the state, making Georgia home to nearly half of our properties,” said Corey Walz, president of Walz Kraft. “Our familiarity with the Atlanta Metro coupled with its prime placement on the Piedmont Henry Hospital campus made this acquisition an ideal addition to the portfolio.”
Andrew Murphy of Highgate Partners represented the Seller. No Broker represented Walz Kraft in this transaction.
