News Releases: Anchor Health Properties Celebrates a Major Development Milestone with the “Topping Out” of HonorHealth Medical Campus at Peoria (Ariz.)

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

April 29, 2024

(Phoenix, AZ) Raising the final steel beam on the HonorHealth Medical Campus at Peoria, a three story, 100,000 square foot Class A medical outpatient building, Anchor Health Properties, a national, full service healthcare real estate development, management, and investment company focused exclusively on medical facilities, recently celebrated the “topping out” milestone alongside members of HonorHealth, SMIL, and the design and construction team. In the days leading up to the event, key leadership and stakeholders and project team members had the opportunity to sign the ceremonial steel beam to leave their lasting mark on the multi-specialty outpatient center.

“This event represents a major milestone in the construction process and serves as a testament to HonorHealth’s vision of transforming healthcare for our communities,” shared Sean Miller, Senior Vice President of Development with Anchor. “This beam symbolically indicates the completion of the structural components of the project as we expand access to high quality healthcare services for residents and create lasting value for our families, friends, and neighbors. We are thrilled to be working with HonorHealth, SMIL, and the design and construction team on this dynamic and transformative project.”

Strategically located on the east side of the Loop 101 on 83rd Avenue between Thunderbird Road and Bell Road in Peoria, Arizona, the building will house patient-focused, local tenancy, including HonorHealth, a leading Valley healthcare system serving more than five million people in the greater Phoenix area, and SMIL, a physician-owned provider of imaging services in the greater Phoenix region with more than forty years of patient care experience. The new medical campus will serve as a one-stop-shop for a variety of services addressing the full continuum of care, such as cancer care, primary care, physical therapy, gastroenterology, breast surgery, outpatient surgery, medical imaging and more.

“With the new HonorHealth Medical Campus at Peoria, we take another step forward in our century-long legacy of improving the health and well-being of patients in our communities,” noted Todd LaPorte, HonorHealth CEO. “By bringing these services together under one roof, the campus will create an environment that is a focal point for the community to improve and maintain overall health.”

Slated for completion in early 2025, regionally based firms with extensive healthcare facility experience are serving as key members of the project team, including DAVIS, a leading architect firm maximizing the quality of “life in place,” ArchSol, a premier healthcare architectural firm, and Okland Construction, a family owned construction management firm building on 100 years of success.
