Greene Park Capital Europe will use its extensive experience to work with investors and operators to identify attractive risk-adjusted returns in healthcare real estate.

CHICAGO–(BUSINESS WIRE)--Greene Park Capital Founder Carrie Hiebeler announced the launch of a new entity whose team of experienced real estate and healthcare experts will focus on investment opportunities presented by the rapidly growing demand for healthcare services in the UK and Europe.

  • Tom Hoppe has advised and executed on over $225 billion of transactions during a 15-year M&A career. Most recently he was a senior director at investment banking advisory firm Gleacher Shacklock, where he focused on deals in UK and European healthcare services. Prior to that he spent he spent a decade at leading independent investment banking advisory firm Centerview Partners in both New York and London, advising on mergers and acquisition for clients across healthcare, life sciences and other sectors, including large global healthcare real estate investment trusts.
  • Ben Jones has over 25 years of experience in European and Australian markets and a long track record of developing and growing innovative real estate funds that deliver market-leading performance. For 13 years he worked in London with M&G Investments as Head of Real Estate Long Income, managing £8.5 billion of assets, including the M&G Secured Property Income Fund, which under his leadership had assets of £4.5 billion and a 10-year un-geared return of 9 percent per annum at the end of 2019. He has a deep understanding of real estate through direct investment of over £5 billion across multiple countries, with significant experience in underwriting operational assets such as healthcare, hotels, leisure and student accommodation.
  • Wesley Layug is responsible for supporting the firm’s investment pipeline, including sourcing, underwriting, due diligence, and negotiation of transactions. He joins Greene Park Capital Europe after five years at Ventas, Inc., where he was responsible for executing over $10 billion of debt and equity investments covering the continuum of care, which includes the senior living, medical office, and life science sectors across the United States, Canada, and United Kingdom.
  • Hugh Risebrow is CEO of Larchmore Associates, a consultancy that supports both public and private sector healthcare organizations to develop and implement strategy and to create partnerships. Previously he served in senior positions at Synlab UK, Guy’s & St. Thomas, Interhealth Canada, United Health Europe, BUPA Dental, Bain & Co, and Kalchas.
