News Release: Flagship Healthcare Properties Elects New Partners

Senior executives Rex Noble, Kyle Sweeney and Blake Bratcher join ownership ranks

CHARLOTTE, N.C. Flagship Healthcare Properties (Flagship), an outpatient healthcare real estate firm, has appointed three of its executives as owners and partners: Rex Noble, Executive Vice President of Asset Management; Kyle Sweeney, Chief Investment Officer; and Blake Bratcher, Executive Vice President of Ambulatory Surgery Centers.

“These three leaders have been elevated for their exceptional contributions to the company’s growth, culture and success,” said Flagship’s CEO and Managing Partner, Brannen Edge. “This well-deserved recognition underscores that Flagship’s greatest asset is our people, and these leaders are truly exemplary. The future looks incredibly bright with their continued leadership and dedication.”

This move underscores Flagship’s commitment to nurturing talent within the organization, solidifying a foundation for future growth, Edge said. “These appointments reflect these three leaders’ achievements and pivotal roles in advancing the company’s mission to provide exceptional outcomes to all we gratefully serve in healthcare real estate.”

After a distinguished career at Cogdell Spencer, Noble has been leading Flagship’s asset management team for the last eight years. He focuses his efforts on maximizing the performance and value of the real estate portfolio, while formulating and implementing the long-range real estate asset management strategy.

Sweeney manages the investment process for Flagship Healthcare Trust, the company’s real estate investment trust (REIT). He leads Flagship’s capital allocation strategy, underwriting and new business development efforts. Sweeney collaborates with executives overseeing asset management, leasing, accounting and investor relations to position the REIT’s investment activity, maximize long-term value creation and support growth and coverage of its dividend.

Bratcher spearheads Flagship’s ambulatory surgery center (ASC) strategy and portfolio. He is responsible for the ASC platform’s growth and direction, which is centered on building strategic partnerships with surgery center operators and physicians to acquire, develop and manage ASCs.

Noble, Sweeney and Bratcher join Edge, Joe Shull, Reed Griffith and Tripp Tate in Flagship’s partner/ownership group.
