CBRE Adds Prominent Life Sciences Team in the San Francisco Bay Area

The team brings more than 30 years of leadership and expertise in life sciences across northern California and Nevada

Burlingame, CA. – Feb. 28, 2023 – CBRE announced that Gregg Domanico, Michael Domanico, Sai Domanico and Jordan Domanico have joined its Life Sciences practice on the San Francisco Peninsula. The team specializes in the leasing and sale of life sciences properties across the San Francisco Bay Area.

The team joins CBRE from Kidder Mathews. They are prominent figures in the commercial real estate industry across the San Francisco Bay Area.

“Gregg, Michael, Sai and Jordan have been among the top-producing life sciences teams in the Bay Area and we are thrilled to welcome them to CBRE. The addition of this team complements our growing life sciences practice in the Bay Area and expands our services to clients across the sector,” said Joe Wallace, President of CBRE’s Advisory & Transaction Services in Northern California.

Gregg Domanico returns to CBRE as Vice Chairman; he was previously with the company from 1992-1997. He is known for advising life sciences and biotech companies throughout the San Francisco Bay Area for more than three decades. He helped institutional clients across northern California and Nevada raise and deploy over $15 billion to bring more than 30 million sq. ft. of life sciences developments to the market. Mr. Domanico also managed and led Kidder Mathews’s Life Sciences and Technology group for the West Coast.

Michael Domanico and Sai Domanico join CBRE as Senior Vice Presidents. Michael works with institutional life sciences clients and advises developers on capital deployment, bringing more than 6 million sq. ft. of life sciences developments to the market. Sai represents a range of life sciences companies in their laboratory requirements and advises life sciences developers on the scalability and performance of their facilities.

Jordan Domanico joins CBRE as First Vice President specializing in tenant representation and corporate real estate services for emerging, high-growth biotech companies.

“Gregg and team are coming home,” said Matt Gardner, CBRE Americas Life Sciences Leader. “I’ve had the good fortune to know and work with Gregg over the last few decades, and it’s even more significant that he had a hand in establishing the original Life Sciences practice at CBRE in the 1990s.”
