The 50-bed facility, located on Robinson Street, will provide veterans with increased access to critical local health care
NORMAN, OK, Jan. 20, 2023 – JLL is pleased to announce the sale of a 39,665-square-foot, 50 bed long-term acute care facility in Norman, Oklahoma, to the United States Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
JLL facilitated the transaction between the seller and the VA. The JLL team representing the seller was led by Senior Vice President Christopher DiSalle, CCIM.
“JLL is pleased to facilitate the sale of this hospital in an excellent location to help provide Oklahoma’s veteran community with increased access to important health care,” said DiSalle.
The hospital is located at 1210 W. Robinson Street, which is about 20 miles from Oklahoma City and conveniently located adjacent to I-35. The facility is 2.5 miles from the Norman Regional Health System and is quickly accessible from Flood Avenue. The VA will renovate the hospital prior to opening it.
According to the Oklahoma Department of Veterans Affairs, Oklahoma has about 290,000 veterans and is the leading state for veterans, per capita, in receipt of federal, service-connected disability benefits.
