SCNT is comprised of five (5) full-sized operating rooms, an ophthalmologic procedure room, and two (2) gastrointestinal procedure suites that are outfitted with the latest in innovative technology. The ASC is utilized by nineteen (19) board-certified physicians offering an array of elective-based outpatient surgical procedures including ENT, ophthalmology, gastroenterology, orthopedic, and pain management.
HREA structured the transaction to allow existing physician-owners to monetize the majority of the real estate value while retaining tax-deferred ownership in the real estate. As a result, the physicians were able to take advantage of historically high valuations but also maintain ownership alignment between the real estate and the operating company.
