Georgetown, KY, July 14, 2022 – Georgetown Community Hospital, part of LifePoint Health, will anchor a Medical Office Building in the new Parkview Plaza in Georgetown, expanding its portfolio of providers and outpatient healthcare services.
Georgetown Community Hospital will occupy approximately 30,000 square feet of the 45,000 square foot, three-story, class “A” Medical Office Building, conveniently located nearby at 1175 Lexington Road. The Medical Office Building will be in the initial phase of Parkview Plaza, a 10-acre mixed-use development by May Commercial Group Inc of Lexington, consisting of office, retail and restaurant space.
“Healthcare services have been a staple of the Georgetown Community since the early 1900s and the tremendous growth of our region during the last twenty years has created a demand for more healthcare offerings for local patients,” said Cliff Wilson, CEO of Georgetown Community Hospital and Central Kentucky LifePoint Market President. “As part of this extensive project, we will recruit additional providers and expand the range of services we offer to better serve the healthcare needs of our community.”

Since 2012, Georgetown Community Hospital has recruited 31 new providers to the community and medical staff and has intentionally located new provider offices on or near its main campus to ensure easier access to services for patients.
The groundbreaking for the new medical office building is scheduled for September 2022 with construction to begin immediately after. Healthcare services at the location are estimated to be available by the fall of 2023.
