News Release: Dental Surgery to Anchor Development at Tamarack & I-494 (Woodbury, Minn.)

NEWS RELEASE

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

SAINT PAUL (Monday, November 11th, 2021) – Excavators can be seen on-site at the corner of Bielenberg Drive and Tamarack Road preparing the land for a new multi-tenant, 30,000 square foot medical office building being developed by MSP Commercial. Construction began with earthwork in late September on the site located just to the east of the I-464, and will continue through next spring.

A robust suburb and a healthcare hub in the north metro, Woodbury serves as an ideal environment for the building’s anchor tenants and partnering practices, The Oral Surgery Center and The Periodontal Center to expand. This will be a Woodbury relocation for The Oral Surgery Center, and a second location for The Periodontal Center, which had a successful opening in Hudson earlier this year. This building will allow both growing practices more space and provide convenient access for patients and staff. Additionally, the location offers optimal brand exposure to a heavily trafficked intersection.

Staff and partners of the dental practices are excited about the new location. Dr. Burns, a partner, shared, “The Oral Surgery Center is looking forward to continuing to serve our community in our expanded Woodbury location within the Tamarack Village. Our experienced specialty team is thrilled to share this location with The Periodontal Center and to improve access to advanced, quality care.” With multiple collaborations in the past few years, Dr. Burns also noted, “We appreciate partnering with MSP on this project as they bring valuable healthcare construction and property management experience.“

Dr. Brown, also a partner added, “The Periodontal Center and our periodontists are excited to bring years of experience delivering compassionate and quality care to the Woodbury area in the same location as our partner oral surgery clinic, The Oral Surgery Center. I have seen firsthand, the synergy of our oral surgeons and periodontists working together, and how that results in a higher level of care with exceptional clinical outcomes.”

Their fifth project on the Tamarack interchange, MSP Commercial has extensive development experience in the area. Upon completion of this project, MSP’s ownership and management in the immediate area will increase from a current 120,000 square feet of 100% occupied healthcare space to 150,000 square feet.
The project team also includes other familiar names in healthcare construction and design in the Woodbury area, including Welsh Construction, Mohagen Hansen Architecture | Interiors and Sambatek Engineering.

This new medical office building offers all the perks of a retail-style building. Tenant-controlled, direct-entry suites, retail signage along high traffic routes, and plenty of surface parking make the building especially appealing to users in the market for new space.

With the ability to accommodate up to 8 tenants, the building has an additional 20,000 square feet available for lease by Colliers Int’l. The project is scheduled to be completed in June of 2022.
