News Release: HRE Veteran, Dave Baker, Named Anchor Health Properties’ Senior Vice President of Development

(Seattle, WA) Dave Baker, a 35+ year veteran in the healthcare real estate industry, has recently been named Senior Vice President of Development with Anchor Health Properties (Anchor), a national full-service healthcare real estate development, management, and investment company focused exclusively on medical facilities. Based out of Seattle, Washington, Mr. Baker brings his robust, intimate understanding of healthcare operations and real estate strategy to further strengthen national and regional development services and facilitate alignment with new and existing client opportunities.

Providing strategic leadership to business development efforts, development operations, and capital relationships, he will support Anchor’s corporate strategy and mission to pursue better healthcare through real estate solutions.

Mr. Baker’s previous experience includes working with health systems to develop new healthcare facility environments, design and project management, and working with capital and financial models that best support the health system, physicians and providers and the communities in which they serve. His passion is creating healing hospitality environments and how they affect patient and visitor outcomes and best support the delivery of care.

Mr. Baker is a member of and has been a national speaker and contributor with the American Society of Healthcare Engineers (ASHE), Colorado Association of Healthcare Engineers and Directors (CAHED), The American Institute of Architects (AIA) Academy of Health, and Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA). He currently serves on the Board of Advisors for the Denver Medical Study Group, a national think tank within the healthcare industry. He received his Bachelor of Architecture from Texas Tech University and has also completed Real Estate Investment and Tax programs through Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM).
