The new healthcare facility will be in a highly visible, convenient medical hub on Highway 610, benefiting patients and tenants including anchor MNGI Digestive Health

The two-story, 44,000-square-foot Maple Grove Specialty Center will be anchored by MNGI Digestive Health.

MAPLE GROVE and MINNEAPOLIS, Minn., Aug. 20, 2021 – Officials from Minneapolis-based Davis and MNGI Digestive Health (formerly Minnesota Gastroenterology) broke ground yesterday for the new 44,000-square-foot, two-story Maple Grove Specialty Center in Maple Grove, a northwest Minneapolis suburb.

MNGI has signed a lease for the entire 22,000-square-foot second floor of the building, to be located at 15490 101st Ave. N.

Mark Davis, Founder and Principal of Davis, said several other potential tenants have expressed strong interest in this project.

“The medical office building will be in a very desirable, highly visible location off Highway 610,” says Mr. Davis of the national healthcare real estate development, property management, brokerage and investment firm.

He added, “The area is also a growing medical hub near the Maple Grove Hospital. It’s the kind of location where healthcare providers want to be.”

“When MNGI wanted to expand into the northwestern area of the Twin Cities, our real estate advisor Davis recommended the site in Maple Grove off Highway 610,” says Scott Ketover, MNGI’s President and CEO. “This site is ideally situated and convenient for residents in the northwestern suburbs. We are looking forward to moving in and providing expanded GI care for our growing base of patients.”

Executives of MNGI and Davis gathered Aug. 19 for a groundbreaking celebration for the building.

The Maple Grove Specialty Center is scheduled to be completed by August 2022. The specialty center will occupy 4.2 acres on the southern end of the 8.13-acre site. Plans are for retail stores and offices to occupy the northern portion of the site.

In addition to developing the specialty center, Davis will own the building and provide property management and leasing services to tenants. The architect for the project is Minneapolis-based Synergy Architecture Studio, and the general contractor is Timco Construction Inc., which is headquartered in Plymouth, Minn.

A limited amount of space remains available in the Maple Grove Specialty Center. Interested healthcare providers are encouraged to contact Jill Rasmussen at jrasmussen@davishre.com or 612-341-3247.
