Hammes Company Healthcare, a leading provider of consulting and project delivery services, celebrated the opening of Beebe Healthcare’s new Cancer Center at its South Coastal Health Campus near Millville, Delaware.

Hammes Company Healthcare, a leading provider of consulting and project delivery services, celebrated the opening of Beebe Healthcare’s new Cancer Center at its South Coastal Health Campus near Millville, Delaware. The cancer center is part of a larger campus, which includes a 23-exam room freestanding emergency department, which opened in May. Hammes has been the project manager for the new campus since 2017.
“The opening of this campus demonstrates Beebe Healthcare’s dedication to continually providing advanced quality care for all of Sussex County. We are incredibly proud to open these new facilities, especially while leading the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic,” said David A. Tam, MD, MBA, FACHE, President & CEO, Beebe Healthcare.
In addition to serving as project manager for Beebe Healthcare’s South Coastal Health Campus, Hammes is also overseeing the development of a new 136,000-square foot, specialty surgical hospital at Beebe’s Rehoboth Health Campus.
“Knowing how important these facilities are to the community and Beebe Healthcare, everyone involved in this project continued working diligently throughout the COVID -19 pandemic to deliver the project on-time and on-budget as planned,” said Mike Killian, Regional Vice President of Hammes Company Healthcare. “It’s been a privilege working with Beebe to see these projects come to life.”
