On Friday, June 11, Center for Special Surgery (CSS) held a groundbreaking event for their new Medical Office Building located along 23rd Ave in West Fargo behind Costco with visibility from I-94.
The new building is part of a 90,000 SF Class A medical campus that will house multiple clinics, including an urgent care center, on-site pharmacy and second-floor Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC). It will be home to Center for Special Surgery’s network of physicians specializing in Ear, Nose and Throat, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, Neurosurgery, and Plastic Surgery, among others. The three-story building will offer five build-to-suit tenant spaces ranging from 4,425 – 11,135 SF on the first and third floors. The campus will be made complete with an Ophthalmology Center that will be connected to the Medical Office Building.

“The new facility will continue to advance our current understanding of same-day surgery and transform the outpatient experience through convenience, comfort and creativity,” said Jed LaPlante, Administrator of Center for Special Surgery. “With fully equipped operating rooms, the availability of cutting-edge medical technology, and private recovery space, the Ambulatory Surgery Center planned for the second floor of the building allows tremendous cost savings for patients on surgical procedures while providing an exceptional experience for patients, families and our independent medical community.”

Developed and constructed by Enclave, and designed in collaboration with BWBR Architects, the new medical campus will be the most advanced private surgery center in the region, and largest between Bismarck and St. Cloud, caring for up to 200 patients in a single day. The facility’s healthcare providers will have access to advanced healthcare amenities and state-of-the-art equipment, including MRI imaging.

Enclave will begin construction on the project in July of 2021 with an estimated completion date of summer 2023.
