GI Specialty Group Expanding into Vadnais Heights

MINNEAPOLIS (Thursday, June 10, 2021) – Groundwork started just after Memorial Day on an undeveloped site central to the Vadnais Heights community. The location, just off 35E on County Road E and Arcade Street, is the future home of a nearly 23,000 square foot MNGI Digestive Health Clinic and Ambulatory Surgical Center. MNGI Digestive Health is an independent and locally owned gastroenterology specialty group with several locations in the Twin Cities area.

The easily accessible location also provides convenient access for the growing base of patients seeking GI care in the North Twin Cities suburbs.”
The site is located on the same parcel as the Summit Orthopedics Clinic, which was purchased and developed by MSP Commercial in 2014. Like the Summit clinic, MSP Commercial is developing the project and will be managing the property.
The rest of the base building project team was selected in early May. Gardner Builders is the shell building general contractor and Mohagen Hansen Architecture | Interiors is the primary architect. Civil and structural engineering is being performed by Civil Site Group and Innovative Structural Solutions.
Being developed on just over a third of the 7.3-acre parcel, the single-story medical office’s footprint is uniquely shaped to optimize the lot size, while providing adequate parking for patients and staff. The façade features two-tone brick with architectural metal accents which is designed to complement the architectural styles of the surrounding buildings.
Base building construction is scheduled to be completed in early 2022 and MNGI Digestive Health’s first patient day is expected in April of 2022.
