Rubicon MOB in Irving shows how HRE opportunities can grow organically

In the fall of 2020, a transaction involving a 66,605 square foot medical office building (MOB) took place for an undisclosed price and a bit under the radar in Irving, Texas, a Dallas suburb.

But what might have appeared to be a fairly routine, stand-alone sale of what is now known as the Gateway Medical Center at 6121 N State Highway 161 was actually the culmination of a series of events dating back at least four years – and it serves as an excellent example of how opportunities can grow organically in the (HRE) healthcare real estate space.

It all began with a parking issue
