News Release: Astoria Healthcare Properties Adds Talent with Strategic New Hires

Leawood, KS, February 10, 2021

Astoria Healthcare Properties, LLC welcomes the firm’s Chief Executive Officer, Jon Dandurand, MBA, MRC and Director of Business Development and Marketing, Rachel R. Treanor, CPSM. Jon and Rachel join an exciting and established team of finance, real estate, construction, and business professionals respected in their fields for helping clients invest, build, and achieve their healthcare real estate objectives.

Jon Dandurand, Chief Executive Officer, brings career perspective gained over 12 years to drive strategic business and company growth goals. He thinks strategically, creatively, and with a mental blueprint of the deal’s must-haves for ultimate investor success. His leadership style drew the attention of Jeremey Tasset, CEO at Nueterra Capital, Astoria’s parent company. “Jon liaises easily with stakeholders like capital partners, trade partners, financial experts, and community leaders, and that made him an ideal fit for Astoria. It was critical to identify a leader whose communication and management styles mesh well with our high-performing clients,” said Tasset. “We discovered that in Jon.” Dandurand has worked for multiple Fortune 500 real estate and construction companies, including JE Dunn, Deere & Company, and Bank of America.

Rachel Treanor, Director of Business Development and Marketing joined Astoria in late 2020 and draws on her 20-year architecture, engineering, and construction industry background to build and reinforce corporate relationships and create business opportunities. She focuses on three industry verticals – affiliate partnerships, current joint ventures, and third-party physicians and health systems – and relies on her technical background to support the firm’s short and long-term growth goals. She serves as an Astoria connection to the development and land acquisition teams and the financing and construction divisions. Treanor recently completed the Real Estate Development Initiative with the Urban Land Institute and received the MVP award for her class.

Since 2005, and with healthcare as its exclusive focus, Astoria has been partnering with clients to deliver efficient facilities that contribute to higher quality care at lower costs to consumers, create additional opportunities for investors and provider partners through flexible real estate ownership solutions, and to deliver successful concept-to-key-card developments.
